Devils Daily: Injuries Mounting for New Jersey, Marchand Controversy
Look, it’s the absolute truth that it’s not easy to lose your top two centers. That’s what happened to the New Jersey Devils in a matter of a week. However, not many teams can still ice elite talent with the injuries New Jersey has sustained. The Devils, fortunately, can. Timo Meier and Jesper Bratt, among others, can be enough to keep New Jersey in the hunt. It won’t be easy, but they have the talent and depth to get it done.
The Devils are off today as they travel to Chicago to take on the Blackhawks. We likely won’t get any updates or recalls until Sunday when the team is back on the ice.
Elsewhere, Mike Sullivan is shaking things up in Pittsburgh, Marchand is back in the headlines, and more.
