Devils Daily: Which Devils Goaltender Starts Tonight?

It’ll be interesting to see what New Jersey Devils goaltender leads the team onto the ice tonight. Head coach Lindy Ruff commented on the fact that he wants to keep playing Vitek Vanecek in order to show confidence in the Devils’ goaltender. However, Akira Schmid certainly feels like he’s the more stable presence in the crease.
There will be no morning skate today, so we’ll talk to Ruff at 5 PM. It’s unlikely he’ll disclose what goaltender is starting anyway, so we’ll have to wait for warmups.
