Everyone knows by now that New Jersey Devils general manager Tom Fitzgerald has been exploring the market for a defenseman. When Vancouver Canucks blue liner, Nikita Zadorov requested a trade, the Devils were reportedly in the mix with heavy interest. However, the Calgary Flames struck a deal to keep him in Canada and he’s no longer available. Yet, now there are some new names that are said to be available. We’ll explore some NHL Trade talk on a few defensemen who might be a fit in New Jersey, especially given that Dougie Hamilton could be out long-term.
