Devils Daily: Avs Trade Former Devil, Sharks Acquire Center, & More

The drama involving former New Jersey Devils players continues. Yesterday, it was Minnesota Wild GM Bill Guerin who is in hot water following abuse allegations. Today, a former Devil forward is traded after a failed experiment in Colorado. More on that a bit later.
The Devils are in Columbus tonight, along with the fathers and mentors for their annual trip. Damon Severson will unfortunately not participate due to injury. It’s looking more and more like that might have to wait until next season.
Elsewhere, a Pittsburgh forward is nearing a return, fans in Philly can relax, and San Jose is taking a crack at a former high-profile prospect.
