Devils Daily: Post-Roster Freeze Buzz, Former Second Overall Pick Retires Early

That was a crucial point the New Jersey Devils dropped last night. Our takeaways from the 3-2 overtime loss are in the links, so be sure to read up on it. Although, taking a look at how last night developed in the Metropolitan Division, it hurt that much more that the New York Rangers, New York Islanders, Carolina Hurricanes, and even the Columbus Blue Jackets secured two points. It’s a busy week for the Devils this week with two more games to play before the holiday break. They’ll really need those four points.
