Are the New Jersey Devils gearing up for some post-holiday cheer? The NHL roster freeze was officially listed this morning at 12:01 AM. New Jersey is currently holding onto three netminders. Certainly, we know general manager Tom Fitzgerald has been weighing his options on the trade market, is this just phase one?

Elsewhere, Pittsburgh’s mindset on making a push for the playoffs, Boston could stand pat on the trade front, and Colordao’s pipelines hit with the injury bug.
