The lone New Jersey Devils player at the All-Star Game will be Jack Hughes. That is if he’s healthy enough to attend. If not, the Devils will need to find a replacement for the injured forward.

The NHL revealed its final 12 attendees as voted on by the fans of the NHL. Those voted in are Sergei Bobrovsky, Alexander Georgiev, Jeremy Swayman, Cale Makar, Leon Draisaitl, Brock Boeser, Thatcher Demko, JT Miller, Elias Pettersson, Mitch Marner, William Nylander and Morgan Rielly.

If it’s not Hughes, one of Jesper Bratt, Luke Hughes, Timo Meier, or Tyler Toffoli is likely to take his place. You could argue Simon Nemec should be included in that group.

I’d be shocked if it wasn’t Bratt.

Also revealed on Saturday were some of the participants in the skills competition. Hughes is one of the players that are scheduled to participate. We’ll see if that actually happens.

But wait, there’s more! The All-Star jerseys were revealed and…. well….

They’re something:

At least Hughes would wear the white one which is arguably the best one.

Anyway, let’s get to some links. Chicago Blackhawks forward Nick Foligno is still being asked about Brendan Smith’s hit on Connor Bedard.

Let’s do that hockey.

Florida Hockey Now: So, uh, here’s an interesting one. EA Sports NHL 24 made some forwards defensemen and defensemen forwards in their latest update. For example, you can play as Aaron Ekblad, the winger! Ironically, it’s unrelated to Bruce Boudreau revealing the Vancouver Canucks almost made Quinn Hughes a center.
