Devils Gameday
Devils vs. Canadiens: Betting Odds, How to Watch, Projected Lines, & More
The New Jersey Devils host the Montreal Canadiens tonight at the Prudential Center. The Devils are coming off a pretty uninspired loss despite their plethora of key injuries.
In the month of January, the Devils have lacked consistency in alternating wins and losses, winning consecutive games just once in the first two games of this month.
The Habs are in a similar boat, however, have pulled off some impressive wins against superior opponents this month such as the Dallas Stars, New York Rangers, and Colorado Avalanche. Nico Hischier and co. will need to avoid the trap game and get back in the win column against an inferior Canadiens squad.
Let’s dive into this afternoon’s Devils’ tilt with the Canadiens.

Player to Watch
Tyler Toffoli has played in 171 consecutive games, which ranks 19th for all active skaters in the NHL. The former Canadiens forward enjoys facing off against the club he used to suit up for. In 18 career games against the Canadiens, Toffoli’s registered seven goals and 16 points. The veteran forward has gone cold, missing from the goal column in the last five games. Look for Toffoli to try and get back on the board tonight.
