Devils Daily: Fitzgerald Extended, Promoted; Flyers Hart Steps Away

The New Jersey Devils ownership clearly likes what general manager Tom Fitzgerald has done with their team thus far. As a result, Fitzgerald was extended as the general manager and given the additional title of President of Hockey Operations on Tuesday. One of the reasons why Fitzgerald was extended was because of key acquisitions like Timo Meier. Although his season has been a roller coaster, it looks like he’s turning the corner.
Elsewhere, should Pittsburgh add to, or blow up their roster? Can Ottawa and Boston connect on a blockbuster? And Philly’s goaltender steps away from the game.
Let’s do that hockey.
