Devils Daily: Busy Thursday for New Jersey, Mukhamadullin Talks First NHL Stint

It was a busy day for the New Jersey Devils yesterday. First, they recalled a forward and defenseman from the AHL Utica Comets. Then, they claimed a defenseman off waivers. It makes sense, they’re minus bodies due to injury, and now indefinite absences. And in somewhat Devils-related news, one of their former top prospects received his first NHL recall.



We also dove into the Devils’ GM divulging the contract negotiation status’ of some key pending restricted free agents.

Elsewhere, despite just arriving in Columbus, Ivan Provorov could be on the move again, Boston winger Jake DeBrusk wants to remain where he is, and Shakir Mukhamadullin opens up about where he’s improved and his excitement.
