Hopefully, over the course of the next nine days, things can settle down and sort themselves out for the New Jersey Devils. After we return from the All-Star break, perhaps they’ll be a healthier team with some time off and away from the rink.
In the meantime, a trio of recalls have been reassigned to get some extra work in while the varsity club is on a hiatus.
Elsewhere, former Devils prospect, Shakir Mukhamadullin, made his NHL debut. You can hear from the Sharks defenseman regarding his thoughts on the night and some analysis of his debut in the links below.
Plus, could a Boston winger be headed to Alberta? Pittsburgh’s fix, and Philly’s new bargain contract.
Let’s do that hockey.
The Devils reassigned forward Justin Dowling and defensemen Santeri Hatakka and Daniil Misyul to the AHL Utica Comets yesterday. The Comets play three times during the NHL All-Star break (Jan.31st, Feb. 2nd, & Feb. 3rd).
