Devils Daily: All-Star Game Results, is Jack Back?

This weekend’s All-Star event was certainly an improvement from what we’re used to getting. However, that’s not to say it doesn’t still need improvements. For instance, New Jersey Devils forward, Jesper Bratt, was minimally involved in the festivities. Bratt heard his name called at the draft on Thursday, was completely out of the equation on Friday at the Skills Competition, and Team Hughes was bounced by Team Matthews in their tilt. Bratt was literally involved in 6:13 of the All-Star weekend skating alongside J.T. Miller and Brock Boeser Saturday afternoon. Fans of the Devils didn’t have much incentive to tune in.

Regardless, Team Matthews won the All-Star tournament and will split the $ 1 million prize.

Auston Matthews scored twice in the final and racked up 2-2—4 across the two games to become the first Maple Leafs player in 33 years to win All-Star Game MVP.

Now, the regular season schedule resumes on Monday. The Devils face the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday in their pursuit to jump back into playoff position. The Devils take the ice at 2 P.M. for practice this afternoon. Maybe, just maybe, Jack will be back.

In the links, which Devils will head to the best-on-best tournament in Milan at the 2026 Winter Olympics?

Elsewhere, how the Sean Monahan trade affects Pittsburgh, how Tomas Hertl regained All-Star form, and Alex DeBrincat plays a big role in Team Matthews’ All-Star victory.

Let’s do that hockey.
