Devils Daily: Look Out! Are the Devils Back?!
Well, well, well, how the tables are turning. After last night’s win and with a little help from the Edmonton Oilers, the New Jersey Devils sit just two points out of the second Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference playoff race.
For the first time this season, they’ve won back-to-back games and have been receiving quality goaltending in all but one game since returning from the All-Star break.
Look out, the Devils just might be back.
In the links, another layer in the Jacob Markstrom saga. Elsewhere, the Department of Player Safety assessed Morgan Rielly a suspension, an elite Pittsburgh center admits he just might not be elite anymore, and a young center in Philly is on the rise.

New Jersey Hockey Now: The trade fell through and Jacob Markstrom is still a member of the Calgary Flames. However, the trade discussions were serious enough that Markstrom was asked to waive his no-move clause, and did.
More NJHN: The Devils hadn’t won back-to-back games in all of 2023-24. However, that changed on Tuesday on the back of Nico Daws winning two games in as many nights. Read up on the takeaways.
