New Jersey Devils

The New Jersey Devils are back in action today as they begin a three-game homestand.

Prior to 7 P.M. puck drop, the Devils will have a morning skate at 10:30 this morning. Hosting the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight, it’s a big two points for the Devils who still believe their playoff hopes to be alive.

In the links, the Devils reassign a pair of players to the American Hockey League.

Elsewhere, San Jose abruptly fired one of their amateur scouts and Mike Greier didn’t hesitate to provide an explanation. Calgary can’t stay out of the news after they filed an illegal contract that was promptly rejected, and the Isles head coach is out of options and answers.

Let’s do that hockey.
