Devils Daily: Lazar’s Masterton Nomination; Collin Graf’s Decision
No, the ground shaking beneath your feet on Friday was not the world’s attempt to shake up an alternate reality in which the New Jersey Devils are in playoff position.
It was just a regular ‘ol earthquake. Yawn, how boring.
It’s unfortunate that the Devils couldn’t collect at least a few points earlier this week, too. Looking at the out-of-town scoreboard from last night, had the Devils done so they would have received significant help on Friday.
Anyway, the Devils will suit up tonight in Ottawa against the Senators in their first leg of a back-to-back.
In the links, a 2020 draft selection is likely to walk from New Jersey in free agency this summer. Plus, Curtis Lazar is nominated for an end-of-year award.
Elsewhere, when with San Jose’s new acquisition suit up for game action? Why didn’t Boston pursue the young forward harder? And players are speaking out against a certain Calgary rookie who has crossed the line one too many times.
Let’s do that hockey.
