The Devils’ X (formerly Twitter) account claimed it in a separate post as a “new era” with a new bench boss at the helm. Now that the first step of the offseason is complete, let’s see what General Manager Tom Fitzgerald has up his sleeve.

Elsewhere, a Devils’ division rival is seemingly about to make a major change. If the Isles are selling, Boston should be picking up the phone for Brock Nelson. And how Philly has fared against the Devils’ new head coach.

However, the opposite happened, explaining he’s not retiring, but not much else was clarified.

Philly Hockey Now: Well, the Philadelphia Flyers certainly aren’t thrilled with Sheldon Keefe’s hire in New Jersey, having struggled against him on the other side of the ice recently.

Buffalo Hockey Now: Perhaps this is one the Devils should keep an eye on. Devon Levi could factor into pending unrestricted free agent goaltender, Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen‘s next contract with the Buffalo Sabres.
