There’s been no shortage of news around the league despite every team and reporter seemingly dropping everything and running to start their summers following free agency. Newly drafted rookies continue to ink entry-level contracts. However, don’t expect the New Jersey Devils’ first round pick to do the same just yet.
Elsewhere, the Washington Capitals shuffled around their front office. Pittsburgh’s captain is nearing an extension that will see him become a career Penguin. And, Carter Hart could very well be continuing his career… overseas…
