The New Jersey Devils have already begun to extend invitations to unsigned players for training camp. They’ll host at least one standout, big-bodied defenseman out of the QMJHL. More on that in the links.



Speaking of Devils prospects, two of them were invited to the World Junior Summer Showcase.

Elsewhere, the long-awaited and anticipated arrival of Matvei Michkov over. He’s landed in Philadelphia.

New Jersey Hockey Now: Sources tell New Jersey Hockey Now that Devils rookies will report to training camp on Sept. 11th. They also tell NJHN that they’ve invited yet another massive-framed defenseman to attend this fall.

More NJHN: The World Junior Summer Showcase is set to get underway next month. Team Finland has invited two of the Devils’ prospects to play for the Finnish flag who were recently drafted in the 2024 NHL Draft.

NHL.com: Former Devils forward Graeme Clarke inks a one-year, two-way deal with the Minnesota Wild. A similar deal to the one Adam Beckman inked, who the Devils acquired in exchange for Clarke.

Philly Hockey Now: SEE IT — Star prospect Matvei Michkov has officially met up with the Philadelphia Flyers after landing at the John F. Kennedy International Airport in Queens, New York, on Tuesday morning.
