It’s Las Vegas. Of course the Vegas Golden Knights are going to gamble. And that’s exactly what GM Kelly McCrimmon is doing with ex-New Jersey Devils forward Alexander Holtz.

Devils fans will certainly lose their marbles if Holtz does in fact pan out for his new team. However, a fresh start was necessary. Besides, let’s see what Paul Cotter can do.

Elsewhere, could yet another NHLer make the leap to the KHL, swiping up one of Colorado’s big guns? Speaking of Colorado, they’re blue line just got a whole lot more crowded.

In the East, who is the biggest threat to the reigning Stanley Cup Champions? Devils fans might not like this one.
