Although both New Jersey Devils prospects are held in high regard, they made headlines this week for different reasons. Arseni Gritsyuk’s selfless act is a reflection of the kind of teammate he is, whereas Silayev was voted on as one of the top Russian players under 20.

The Devils’ future is in good hands.

Elsewhere, the Isles are undergoing a changing of the guard, Macklin Celebrini player comparison, and Matvei Michkovs’s best friend.

Let’s do that hockey.

Colorado Hockey Now: Colorado Avalanche prospect goaltender, Ilya Nabokov, is held in such high regard overseas that Russian media voted him higher than current NHL stars for best Russian player.

Philly Hockey Now: Nicolas Deslauriers, or Matvei Michkov’s new “best friend,” as general manager Danny Briere called him, will be a key player for the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2024-25 season.
