According to a report, there will be a new option for fans to stream New Jersey Devils games in 2024-25.

That’s right, there will be a new way to view Jack Hughes, Nico Hischier, and Co. if you are a fan who has opted out of cable services.

According to The Athletic‘s Andrew Marchand, YES and MSG Networks will launch the Gotham Sports App for New York/New Jersey fans that will feature the New York Yankees, New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets, New York Rangers, New York Islanders, and the Devils, among other New York-based teams.

The New York Mets and SNY will not be part of the package.

According to the report, “Gotham Package will be priced at $41.99 per month or $359.99 per year. YES’ app currently costs $24.99 per month or $239.99 annually, while MSG+ is $29.99 per month or $279.99 annually. MSG+ also offers single games for $9.99.

“The Gotham Sports App will only be available to fans who fall in the cable footprint of YES and MSG, which are in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. It will start before the Knicks and Nets’ seasons.”

If the Gotham Sports App is not of interest to you, the option to subscribe exclusively to MSG+ or the YES Network remains available at their regular price.

In somewhat related news to the Gotham Sports App, beloved MSG Broadcaster — Erika Wachter Barnes — won’t be returning to the broadcast booth in New Jersey next season.

YES and MSG’s new partnership will be called Gotham Advanced Media and Entertainment (GAME) and is half-owned by each party. The move to the Gotham Sports App has been anticipated since the two networks announced their partnership in January 2024.
