Devils Daily: Brett Pesce’s In Town; Sidney Crosby, Penguins Fallout?
The New York Giants played their season opener yesterday. The New York Jets play tonight. Football is back, and that means hockey is right around the corner. We’re nine days away from the start of New Jersey Devils training camp. we’ll be dropping the puck before you even know it.
That’s why we’ve begun to see players arrive in and around their respective organizations. This past weekend, we got a Brett Pesce sighting in the Tri-State area for the first time since he signed on with the Devils. More on that below.
Elsewhere, a potential fallout with Pittsburgh and their captain, WWE superstars troll Edmonton fans, and a new Captain Duck?

It appears Curtis Lazar isn’t the only Devils player in town anymore. Jacob Markstrom arrived a couple of weeks ago to check out his new home arena. And now, defenseman Brett Pesce is spotted throwing out the ceremonial first pitch alongside New York Rangers defenseman Adam Fox and New York Islanders captain Anders Lee just before Saturday’s New York Mets game.
