New Jersey Hockey Now: Although the makeover has many believing in the Devils again, the shadow of last seasons demise casts over the team until they prove the 2023-24 season was the anomaly. With that, we have one question for each Devils defenseman in the 2024-25 season.
More NJHN: It appears the walls are coming down around the NHL when it comes to offer sheets. Once a rarity due to a gentlemen’s code between NHL general managers, offer sheets were rarely utilized on restricted free agents to keep fellow GMs in good graces for future negotiations. However, it sounds like the gloves are coming off and we could see offer sheets utilized more often, which could have an impact on the Devils.
