Devils Daily: Surprise Roster Bid; Flyers Plot Twist
It will be interesting to see who Sheldon Keefe deploys tonight on Long Island. The New Jersey Devils’ head coach explained that he plans to ice his full roster in the last game before the varsity squad goes wheels up en route to Prague. In the links, it’s almost expected that one of the Devils top prospects takes on of those spots, despite being right-handed. Plus, six random thoughts since training camp opened.
Elsewhere, a surprise plot twist with Philly and their disgruntled goaltender, Kyle Okposo’s successor in Buffalo has been named, and Pittsburgh’s top defenseman receives status update.
