The New Jersey Devils host the New York Rangers at the Prudential Center tonight in the fifth preseason matchup of 2024. Well, they sort of do. The varsity squad departed for the Global Series in Prague on Sunday evening. Back in Newark, New Jersey, a Utica Comets-heavy lineup will dress against the Rangers. It’s likely, for the following two preseason games, you will see a very similar lineup as you do on Monday.

If you are expecting to see Seamus Casey with the Comets-filled lineup, don’t. He took off with New Jersey’s A-team on Sunday and will make his NHL debut in Prague.

The Jr. Devils held morning skate on Monday at RWJBarnabas arena. A handful of PTO players such as Kevin Labanc and Jakub Zboril are expected to play Monday night.
