Devils Gameday
Devils at Rangers: Projected Lines; Notes; How to Watch, & More
Following the New Jersey Devils’ victory over the New York Rangers on Monday, the rivals will run it back on Tuesday. How to watch, & more.
The New Jersey Devils play their cross-town rivals, the New York Rangers, for the second time in as many nights on Tuesday. The Devils hosted the Rangers Monday night at the Prudential Center in a heated battle between the farm systems. With the varsity squad in Europe for the Global Series, another Utica Comets heavy lineup is expected at Madison Square Garden.
However, the Rangers are expected to dress a few more NHLers as opposed to Monday night.
On Monday, Jeremy Brodeur propelled New Jersey to a 3-1 victory, nearly securing the shutout. However, with under two minutes remaining in regulation, Anton Blidh got the Blueshirts on the board. Regardless, it wasn’t enough to overcome goals from Brian Halonen, Nathan Legare, and Kevin Labanc — who is vying for a deal on a professional tryout contract.
