New Jersey Devils
Devils at Flyers: Projected Lines; Notes; How to Watch, & More
The New Jersey Devils face the Philadelphia Flyers at the Wells Fargo Center, their last one of the preseason before it counts.
We’ve just about made it. The last game before they count. The Jr. New Jersey Devils wrap things up in the 2024 preseason, while the varsity squad is overseas. Heading to Broad Street, the Devils will face the Philadelphia Flyers in the final matchup before the regular season.
Last time out, New Jersey visited the New York Rangers in the second half of a back-to-back situation. Whereas the Devils were victorious on Monday, Tuesday brought a different result. Although the Devils kept the game close, it was the Blueshirts who won in the end 5-4.
Kevin Labanc scored twice and added an assist. That’s goals in consecutive nights for New Jersey’s PTO player. It’s fair to wonder if he’ll earn a contract.
Onto Philly.

Next Up
New Jersey’s next game will be the one where the result actually matters. Taking part in the 2024 NHL Global Series, the Devils will face the Buffalo Sabres in Prague. It’s as if the schedule makers knew how to add in the extra drama, as former head coach will be on the other bench as the new head coach of the Sabres.
Seamus Casey appears to be set to make his NHL debut, while Dougie Hamilton and Jack Hughes return from injury dating back to last season
