Devils Daily: Ex-Devils Goaltender Impresses in Vegas; Shesterkin Rejects Rangers Offer
Hockey is officially, officially back. The New Jersey Devils and Buffalo Sabres got the show started last week in Prague. However, the rest of the NHL began to get underway yesterday with regular season games outside of the Global Series on Tuesday, including the debut of the Utah Hockey Club.

Florida Hockey Now: Up against the NHL salary cap, the Florida Panthers made a couple of surprising roster moves on Monday heading into tonight’s season-opener against the Boston Bruins, including a Spencer Knight transaction.
Colorado Hockey Now: Valeri Nichuskin‘s absence from the Colorado Avalanche is coming to an end. The Avs GM insisted on Tuesday that the Russian forward isn’t going anywhere.
