How to Watch Devils Game vs. Carolina Hurricanes; Projected Lines, Notes, & More

The New Jersey Devils (4-1-0) are visiting their in-division rival, the Carolina Hurricanes (0-1-0) for this first time this season at the Lenovo Center.

It’s the second leg of a back-to-back for the Devils who defeated the Utah Hockey Club 3-0 on Monday evening. Jake Allen served Utah HC their first loss and shutout in franchise history. Seamus Casey, Stefan Noesen, and Nico Hischier all scored.

Looking ahead to the Hurricanes, they’re not what they were just one season ago. With the help of the Devils, they lost Brett Pesce and Stefan Noesen in free agency. Additionally, Teuvo Teravainen, Brady Skjei, and Jake Guentzel are all major subtractions from their lineup.

Still, a Rod Brind’Amour-led team should never be underestimated.

With Jake Allen starting on Monday vs. the Utah HC, we learned Jacob Markstrom gets the nod in Carolina.
