Devils Daily: Calder Case(y); Goalie Goal! Michkov Breaks Out

Alright, so Jack Hughes finally broke through and looked a little more like himself last night. However, the New Jersey Devils took a bit of a step back. It was a Herculean effort by Jacob Markstrom, yet the Devils couldn’t provide the offense to keep things close. Further, it sounds like head coach Sheldon Keefe didn’t love the defensive effort again.
Plus, Seamus Casey’s bid for the Calder Trophy is also potentially creating a blue line controversy.
Elsewhere, a goalie goal! Matvei Michkov breaks out; and a tribute to Johnny Gaudreau.
Let’s do that hockey.
