In their second meeting of the season, the New Jersey Devils (5-2-0) host the Washington Capitals (2-1-0) at the Prudential Center on Saturday night.



The Devils begin a two-game home stand and play three of the next four games at the Prudential Center.

After an off day on Friday following the Devils’ two-game road trip, the Devils will have morning skate at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday ahead of puck drop.

Last time out, head coach Sheldon Keefe shook up his forward group before New Jersey took on the Ottawa Senators. A 30-save performance from Jacob Markstrom and goals from Paul Cotter, Erik Haula, and Nathan Bastian propelled New Jersey to a 3-1 victory.

The Devils and Washington face-off for the second of four matchups this season:

The Devils defeated the Caps in Washington on Oct. 12, after Erik Haula (0g-3a), Stefan Noesen (0g-3a) and Paul Cotter
(2g-0a) combined for eight points.

Jacob Markstrom recorded 29 saves in the winning effort.
