Devils Daily: Ex-Devils Defenseman Sidelined for ‘Months;’ Vanecek Jersey Misspell

After an off day on Sunday, the New Jersey Devils return to the ice this morning for an 11 A.M. morning skate. Curious to see how head coach Sheldon Keefe approaches Monday morning’s practice. On Saturday, the Devils fell to the Washington Capitals in a tilt where Keefe felt it necessary to put the forward lines and defensive pairs in a blender. We’ll see if changes continue to be made later today.
In the links, part of the reason Keefe needed to make changes were due to struggling players, the Devils coach admitted.
Elsewhere, an ex-Devils defenseman won’t be suiting up for a while, Fanatics misspells Vanecek’s name on his own jersey, and Detroit’s top prospect misses the team bus for a potentially awkward reason.
Let’s do that hockey.
