The New Jersey Devils (5-2-1) welcome the Tampa Bay Lightning (3-2-0) to the Prudential Center for the first time in the 2024-25 season, in their first meeting of the year.

Last night, the Lightning were routed by the Toronto Maple Leafs 5-2 on the back of a three-point effort (2g,1a) by William Nylander. The Devils also suffered a loss in their last outing, falling 6-5 in overtime on Saturday versus the Washington Capitals.

Since then, the Devils have demoted their top prospect and recalled left-shot defenseman, Danill Misyul. There’s a chance that No.93 will make his NHL debut tonight, with Seamus Casey now in Utica.
