Devils Daily: Defense Reinforcements Inbound; Early NHL Trade Market

The New Jersey Devils hit the ice for morning skate at 10:30 A.M. this morning ahead of their home-ice tilt with the Tampa Bay Lightning later this evening. Yesterday, there was a lot that went down. We broke it all down for you in the links.
First, the Devils reassigned their top prospect. He’s headed to Utica, while a left-shot defenseman is brought up to the varsity squad. That’s just a temporary band-aid, however. The Devils have reinforcements inbound after a bit of good news from their head coach. Plus, the bench boss’ concern with their effort in front of their home crowd.
Elsewhere, Calgary is in the NHL trade market, Pittsburgh’s head coach is angry, and an update on 2024 first overall selection.
Let’s do that hockey.
