Today could finally be the day that the New Jersey Devils ice the team that general manager Tom Fitzgerald imagined at the beginning of the summer. With the potential returns of a couple of key injuries, the Devils could be restored to full health.
If that is indeed the case, there won’t be any more excuses. The Devils have been downright terrible defensively lately, which has raised some red flags. However, when you throw a couple of top-four defensemen back into the lineup, good things are bound to happen… right?
