Devils Daily: Simmering Rivalry; More NHL Officials Criticisms

The New Jersey Devils and New York Islanders are certainly division rivals. But when reflecting on whom the Devils’ true rivals are, the Isles don’t typically come to mind. That could be changing, however. After admitting the Devils’ star player was targeted, things got chippy, which could have set the tone for the remaining meetings this season.
Elsewhere, questioning NHL officials isn’t just happening in New Jersey. Out in Calgary, questions arise from one of their star players. Is there an extension coming for Boston’s captain, or is it all smoke? And, goaltending issues all over the state of Pennsylvania.
