The New Jersey Devils begin the first of three games in their western Canada road trip with a Hughes Bowl, taking on the Vancouver Canucks Wednesday night.



Last time out, the Devils snapped a four-game losing streak, defeating the Anaheim Ducks after the offense came alive in the Prudential Center.

The Canucks saw their four-game win streak snapped in overtime on Monday at the hands of the Carolina Hurricanes. Sebastian Aho netted the overtime winner to leave Vancouver short a point.

What to Know vs. Canucks

The Devils and Vancouver face-off for the first of two matchups this season, which marks the first contest of a three-game
road trip for New Jersey:

  • The Dec. 8, 1984 contest, a 7-3 loss for New Jersey at Quebec.
  • Per NHL Pr, there have been 113 instances when three brothers playing in the same game all recorded at least one point — with the last being on Dec. 5, 2023 (NJD at VAN, noted above).
  • The Devils enter Wednesday’s contest with a 15-3-0 record against the Canucks since 2014-15, and a 7-2-0 record at Vancouver since the 2014-15 season.
