Devils Daily: Markstrom Heckled; Crosby, Malkin Willing NHL Trade; Michkov Benched
There was a lot of talk that the New Jersey Devils just didn’t have their legs under them in their shutout last night. It’s interesting, given the fact that just last week, the Devils believed the busy schedule was getting to them, resulting in fatigue. That wasn’t the case on Friday, however. Although the Devils have been traveling, there’s been plenty of downtime for rest and recovery.
Perhaps, a body in motion stays in motion is best applied here.
So, the Devils lost, and they were shutout despite Markstrom’s efforts. Still, the fans let him hear it.
Elsewhere, Pittsburgh GM to make NHL trade? Matvei Michkov… benched? And the Isles lose a key forward.
Let’s do that hockey.
