The New Jersey Devils (8-5-2) host the Montreal Canadiens (4-7-2) on Thursday night at the Prudential Center.



The Devils collected four of a possible six points on the road and return home briefly, seeking to collect more against the struggling Habs team.

The Canadiens have had a tough of games recently, with a 2-6-2 record through 10 games thus far.

The Devils on the other hand are finding their leg and beginning to put the pieces together to be a successful team,

What to Know vs. Canadiens

New Jersey completed a three-game road trip in Western Canada against Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton and finished
with a 2-1-0 record. Tonight’s contest vs Montreal marks the first of three matchups against the Habs this season :

The Devils have won at least two of three games on a western Canadian (vs EDM, CGY & VAN) road trip four times (2016-17,
2018-19, 2022-23 & 2024-25).

The team swept Edmonton, Vancouver and Calgary twice in team history, which was in Dec. 1996 and November 2022.
