When the New Jersey Devils (10-5-2) hit the ice for warmups, there will be many familiar faces on the other side where the San Jose Sharks (4-9-2) will warm up.

For starters, the Sharks currently deploy a full tandem that used to tend the twine in New Jersey. Now, Mackenzie Blackwood and Vitek Vanecek wear teal as they try to buoy the youngsters.

Last time out, the Devils overcame the New York Islanders in a 4-3 overtime on Saturday night.

What to Know vs. Sharks

Macklin Celebrini registered his first multi-goal game of his NHL career last game, (2g, 0a) and his second multipoint effort in San Jose.

Despite his last game not going so well, the two previous were strong efforts from ex-Devils goaltender Vitek Vanecek who earned a 50-save victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Fabian Zetterlund and Tyler Toffoli are entering Sunday on a four-game goalless streaks.
