The New Jersey Devils (12-6-2) finish their Florida road trip visiting the Tampa Bay Lightning (8-6-1) at Amalie Arena.



Last time out, the Devils handled the Florida Panthers in a back-to-back mini series, sweeping the defending champs.

What to Know vs. Lightning

The Devils opened a three-game road trip and play at Florida for consecutive contests (Tue./Thu.).

  • The two-game stint against Florida marks the second time that New Jersey played against one team in consecutive road contests during the regular season (excluding 2020-21): At Washington via Feb. 21, 3-2 win/Feb. 23, 5-1, L
  • The Devils defeated Florida 4-1 on Tuesday and then 6-2 on Thursday.
  • The Devils enter Saturday’s contest with an 8-3-0 record on the road this season, which ranked second in the NHL behind Minnesota (7-1-2).
