The New Jersey Devils (12-7-2) host their division rival, the Carolina Hurricanes (13-4-0) in an early battle for the Metropolitan Division.
The Devils made some tweaks to their lineup yesterday as they look to cool off the Canes who won eight of their last 10 games.
The Canes are coming to Newark without their No.1 goaltender, Frederik Andersen due to injury.

Jack Hughes and Nico Hischier netted the team’s two goals, while Jacob Markstrom allowed three goals in the loss. The effort marked one of New Jersey’s three regulation loss when scoring first in a game this season.”
