The New Jersey Devils (14-7-2) host the Nashville Predators (7-11-3) tonight to kick off a busy holiday week for New Jersey.

The Predators, led by ex-Devils associate coach Andrew Brunette, have struggled to find consistency this season. As a result, they’re near the bottom of the Western Conference standings and are struggling to meet expectations.

Last time out, the Devils headed to the Nation’s Capital and returned home with two points. That’s enough to consider the Devils on a win streak as they look to match that streak tonight.

What to Know vs. Predators

-New Jersey and the Preds face-off for the first time this season and meet again on Feb. 23, in the Music City.

-The Hughes brothers made some noise last season against Nashville, after Jack Hughes recorded two goals and Luke Hughes collected two helpers vs the Preds.

-Nico Hischier (2g-0a) and J. Hughes (2g-0a) led the Devils with two goals against the Music City last season. Additionally, Jesper Bratt earned two assists against Nashville in 2023-24.

-Bratt owns nine career points (4g-5a) in 11 games against Nashville. The only teams that Bratt does not have a career goal against is Utah and Winnipeg.
