For the first time since the brawl at Madison Square Garden on April 3rd, the New Jersey Devils (16-9-2) visit their rival, the New York Rangers (13-9-1) on Monday night, their first meeting in the 2024-25 season.

The Rangers are going through a bit of a slump, losing five of their last six games.

The Devils, however, have won four of their last six and continue to fight for the top of the Metropolitan Division.

Barring a last minute call-up, Matt Rempe won’t be in the mix as he’s playing for the Rangers American Hockey League affiliate.

Let’s dive into the rest of what to expect Monday night when the Devils visit the Rangers.
