The New Jersey Devils (18-10-3) host the Los Angeles Kings (17-8-3) on Thursday amid their five-game home stand.

The Kings are walking into Newark on fire, having won six of their last 10 games. The impressive part about it, too, is that they’re not just defeating bottom feeders. Instead, teams such as defeating the Winnipeg Jets, Dallas Stars, and Minnesota Wild, all of which reside at the top of the NHL’s standings.

The Devils, however, are on a two-game losing streak following a pair of brutal losses in very different ways.

Let’s dive into tonight’s tilt.
