NJHN Daily: Rangers Fill NHL Trade Board; Devils Tough Love

The New Jersey Devils will take the ice for morning skate at 10:30 A.M. ahead of their tilt later tonight with the Pittsburgh Penguins. Last game, forward Curtis Lazar wasn’t available due. Head coach Sheldon Keefe explained there was no structural damage, rather, his knee just flared up, and he needs some time to recover. He’s likely shut down until after Christmas, so don’t expect him on the ice this morning, or over the next two games.
In the links, Devils general manager Tom Fitzgerald gets real with Simon Nemec.
Elsewhere, the updated NHL trade board has Devils rival selling, Isles talk about being in last place, and Barry Trotz says there won’t be a fire sale.
Let’s do that hockey.
