There are many who would justifiably put Sidney Crosby on their NHL Mount Rushmore. Therefore, it’s gotta be a surreal feeling as an opposing play when he speaks so highly of you. That’s exactly what Crosby did when talking to New Jersey Hockey Now about Jack Hughes and the Devils. More on that in the links below.

Elsewhere, it looks like Matt Rempe is in trouble, again. A certain forward in Anaheim could look good in red and black, and some drama between star players in Vancouver.

Let’s do that hockey.

Devils News

New Jersey Hockey Now: NJHN sat down for a few minutes with future Hall of Famer and three-time Stanley Cup Champion, Sidney Crosby, and picked his brain on what he thinks about Jack Hughes and the Devils. (+)

More NJHN: Sheldon Keefe tweaked the Devils lines on Saturday morning in search for more offense.

Even More: The Devils smother the Pittsburgh Penguins, limiting them to just 12 shots and finding an alternative way to win.

NHL Trade Talk, News, & National Hockey Now

Sportsnet: Matt Rempe is on the hook for another suspension. After elbowing Dallas Stars defenseman, Miro Hesikanen, Rempe is nabbed with an in-person hearing, opening the door for a lengthy absence.

Saturday Night Headlines: The Canucks have officially asked Elias Pettersson and J.T. Miller to sort out their differences with each other.

The Athletic ($): Considering the Anaheim Ducks are a bottom-dweller in the NHL, Frank Vatarano is having a strong season. However, that won’t keep him out of the NHL trade rumors at 30 years old. He’d look good in red and black.

Boston Hockey Now: The Boston Bruins have struggled to meet expectations this season, both as a team and as individuals. But perhaps no player has fallen below their personal high-water mark more than Charlie Coyle.
