The New Jersey Devils arrived home on Tuesday and got the chance to sleep in their own beds for the first time in two weeks. They also came home to a bunch of NHL trade buzz involving some of their significant division rivals in the closest proximity to them. For the first time in a long time, the Devils are the team to beat of the trio of teams in the Metro-City area. And the only Devils trade buzz you’ll hear is about how they’ll be buyers for a postseason run.

Sportsnet: According to a report, the Vancouver Canucks turned down a major offer from the New York Rangers which would have seen J.T. Miller and Mika Zibanejad swapped one-for-one.
Pittsburgh Hockey Now: The logjam among the Pittsburgh Penguins goaltenders has become the best-case scenario. As the NHL trade market rumors shift from the drama in Vancouver and implosion in New York toward goaltending, that situation may become the best-case scenario for the Penguins, too.
Boston Hockey Now: Things continue to trend in a real bad direction for the Boston Bruins. In fact, the fans have resorted to breaking out the, “FI-RE SWEE-NY!” chants.
