Technically, the road trip isn’t over. However, the New Jersey Devils (25-15-3) finally had some home cooking and slept in their own beds after a two-week western swing. Tonight, they’ll visit their rival, the New York Rangers (18-20-2), at Madison Square Garden.

The Rangers are still toiling, meanwhile, the Devils are barely out of the rut they got themselves in over the last five games. If the Devils are truly over their poor string of games, they’ll need to continue to prove that with a convincing effort against the struggling Rangers squad.
