It was a rare action-packed Sunday in the NHL, with 20 teams in action, including the New Jersey Devils.

Speaking of the Devils, a milestone night for multiple players led to a much needed win, while a promising prospect is put on blast by head coach Sheldon Keefe.

Elsewhere, the Boston Bruins and Florida Panthers suffer big blows on the injury front, Ovechkin closes in on the goals record, and more.

Let’s do that hockey.

Devils News

New Jersey Hockey Now: Nico Daws’ first career shutout, Ondrej Palat, and Dougie Hamilton’s 500th career point, and Nico Hischier’s three assist night led to a bounce-back win against the Nashville Predators in the first game of a five-game road trip.

More NJHN: Certainly not what Simon Nemec and Devils fans want to hear. Sheldon Keefe was quite critical of the young defenseman after another rough outing, leading to his benching.
